eFTUN Rules & Guide
Everything you need to know to play, join tournaments, and understand the platform rules
🌍
One clock for everyone
- 1The site has one clock: eFTUN time. A match day starts and ends at the same moment for every player in every country.
- 2Every time is shown in your own local time, with a countdown that reads the same everywhere.
- 3A match day ends at midnight eFTUN time, which is 23:00 UTC.
- 4Mobile players play each other, and console and PC players play each other. The game cannot match the two.
📝
Before the match
- 1Register your exact eFootball username (Extras > User Information > User Details). That is your identity here, not your team name, which changes freely.
- 2Play on your own account only: no second accounts, no shared accounts, no substitutes.
- 3One person, one account. You can only play in one cup at a time, public or private. Join another once you are out of this one.
- 4One device, one cup: if another account on your device is registered in an open or running cup, you cannot register. Two brothers on one phone? Open a support ticket and we will allow it.
- 5Private cups pay no rank points.
- 6The first player listed on the match page creates the Friend Match room and sends its number in the match chat.
- 7Settings: 6 minutes, rule Normal, Injuries Off, Condition Random for both sides. Group stage has no extra time or penalties. Knockout has both.
- 8Wrong settings? Leave at once and recreate the room. Once a game passes half-time with no objection, the score stands.
⏰
Kick-off and "I am here"
- 1Pick the hours that suit you. The first shared hour becomes your kick-off. A kick-off less than 6 hours away needs your opponent to have confirmed their hours that same day. You can move it to another hour you both picked: earlier with at least 6 hours of notice, later up to one hour before it starts.
- 2With no shared hour by 20:00 eFTUN time, kick-off is 22:00.
- 3Tap "I am here" from 15 minutes before kick-off to 15 minutes after. One tap covers both legs. Chat does not count as attendance.
- 4If you alone tapped and your opponent enters no result within an hour of kick-off, you win 3-0 and they get an absence.
- 5If you played and both enter the same result, it stands at once, even if neither of you tapped. If only one tapped, the other has an hour from kick-off to enter a result, or counts as absent.
- 6Opponent tapped but never played? Once check-in closes, tap "My opponent never played". They get at least an hour to answer, or you win 3-0.
- 7Cannot play? Forfeit before check-in closes: your opponent wins 3-0 and no absence is recorded.
- 8Agreeing to move a match to another day is not allowed.
📋
Results and proof
- 1No result, no points. Nobody gets a free draw for tapping and not playing.
- 2The proof that counts is a full picture of Match History (Extras > User Information > Match History). Upload it right after the game, because the list may keep only your last 10 games. One picture can cover both legs.
- 3Each player enters the score without seeing the other, up to 15 goals a side. If both agree it stands at once, and one picture is enough.
- 4Same winner, different goals: the pictures are checked, and if they do not settle it the smaller margin stands.
- 5Different winners: each player gets one correction. 30 minutes after the last entry the pictures are checked automatically and the dispute is settled.
- 6A group dispute with no clear proof after a full day pays nobody.
- 7A lone result stands if you checked in, your opponent checked in, you entered it after kick-off, and your opponent had at least an hour to answer. If you did not check in, only Match History can save your result, and only against an opponent who did. If neither of you checked in, a lone result counts for nothing.
- 8Results close at midnight. A late kick-off gets 90 minutes from its start.
📡
Quitting and disconnects
- 1If the game recorded a result in Match History, it stands. A replay needs both players to agree.
- 2Game cut off or voided after half-time: whoever was leading wins with the score at that moment, shown by a picture of the frozen screen with the score and minute.
- 3Cut off before half-time, or level: play the whole game again in the same time. If the replay is not played, there is no result and no points.
- 4Leaving a game you are losing never helps you.
- 5A claim of bad connection alone changes nothing.
📊
Group stage
- 1You play each opponent twice in a row on the same day.
- 2Win 3 points, draw 1, loss 0. A game both players missed pays nobody.
- 3Ties: goal difference, then goals scored, then head to head, then a fixed system order.
- 4The top two of each group go through.
⚡
Knockout stage
- 1One game only, with extra time and penalties on.
- 2Decided on penalties? Enter the level score and pick the shootout winner. Do not add a goal.
- 3The second player accepts the result, or rejects it by entering the correct score with a picture.
- 4Both present and no result: one extra day. If that happens again, both are out.
- 5Both absent: both are out, and your next opponent goes straight through.
- 6A player who did not check in goes through only if their opponent checked in and Match History proves the game was played.
- 7A knockout dispute is settled after a full day by the best reading of the evidence. The owner decides a final.
🛡️
Cheating and penalties
- 1A picture used for other players' match is refused. In a dispute or a lone result it is checked automatically: its date, the usernames and the score.
- 2A picture from another match does not count. If it is your only proof and your opponent says you never played, you lose 3-0. A result your own Match History contradicts counts as false.
- 3A proven false result: you lose that match 3-0 with a warning.
- 4A second day of false results within 60 days: removal from the cup and no registrations for 30 days.
- 5Missing two match days in a cup removes you from it, and your remaining matches go to your opponents.
- 6Four missed games in 30 days, six forfeited games, or leaving 3 cups: registrations pause for a while.
- 7You can leave a running cup. Your remaining matches go to your opponents.
- 8Penalties follow the person, not the account: a ban or a registration pause covers the other accounts on the same device, and no new account can be made on a banned account's device.
- 9Deleting an account does not erase a penalty: it stays on your email, eFootball username and device until it runs out, and for good on a banned account.
⚖️
Appeals
- 1Every automatic decision shows its reason on the match page.
- 2You have one appeal within 24 hours, by support ticket, with new evidence. The owner's decision is final.
- 3Conduct reports never change a result. A false report can get your account suspended.
- 4If the site itself fails, that day's matches move to the next day and nobody gets an absence.
