How to play
- Create a free account, choose your country and platform, and confirm your email.
- Enter your eFootball username exactly, then join a cup. You play in one cup at a time.
- After the draw, pick the hours that suit you. You see them in your own time, and the first hour you share with your opponent becomes the kick-off.
- At kick-off tap "I'm here", from 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after.
- Talk to your opponent in the match chat, which translates messages. The match page says who creates the room. They send its number in the chat, and you play in Friend Match.
- After the match, upload a picture of Match History. The site reads the score from it by itself.
How a cup runs
- Your first match is the day after the draw.
- Group rounds are two days apart, for example day 1, then 3, then 5. Each round is two matches against the same opponent on the same day.
- A win is 3 points and a draw is 1. The top two of each group go through.
- A knockout is one match with extra time and penalties, and each round is the day after the previous one ends.
- A match day ends at midnight eFTUN time, at the same moment for everyone in every country. That is why no cup ever waits for one match.
What do I upload?
In eFootball open Extras > User Information > Match History and take a full picture right after the match. On console, take a photo of the TV with your phone.
This is the right picture: Match History

- Username: the small name under the team name. It must be the same name you registered here.
- Date and time: the day of this match.
- Score: the site reads it from the picture by itself.
- Team name: the big name. The site does not use it, because a player can change it any time.
These pictures prove nothing
The Full Time or stats screen: It shows team names only, with no username and no date.

A frozen or disconnected screen: It does not say who dropped or when.

A cut or blurry picture: The whole row must show.
Another match: An old picture, or a game against someone else, does not count even if the score is the same.
Example screens from inside eFootball, which belong to Konami. The names are changed.
Your name on the site
Enter your eFootball username exactly as it is. You find it in Extras > User Information > User Details. It is the small name under your team name in Match History.
A wrong letter, or you forgot your name? No problem: your first Match History picture corrects it by itself. If you have not entered it yet, upload a picture of Match History from your dashboard and the site reads it for you.
Your team name does not matter and need not look like your account name, because a player can change it any time. That is why the site does not use it.
How does the site check?
- The "I'm here" button only shows you were on the site. It does not prove you played.
- Match History beats everything: if it proves the game was played, any other claim falls, and whoever made a false claim gets a warning.
- The match chat is recorded with its times: who sent the room number, when, and who answered it. A player cannot edit it.
- Only the latest room number counts, and anything written after being accused counts for nothing.
- So: send the number on time, always answer in the chat, and upload your Match History picture right after the match.
What if...?
We did not agree on a time
You do not need to agree, or even an answer. Pick your hours, and the first shared hour is the kick-off. If you share none, the site fixes the hour that suits you both best, two hours before it, and it is on the match page from the day before.
We both checked in and my opponent says "later"
The kick-off is the time, and talking does not stop the clock. You may wait for them, or tap "My opponent never played" once check-in closes. If no game is played and nobody claims anything: no points in a group, and one extra day in a knockout, after which both are out.
We both checked in, I wanted to play and my opponent disappeared
If they owed the room and sent no number, or you sent the number and they never answered, tap "My opponent never played" once check-in closes. They get at least an hour to answer, or you win 3-0. Anything written after being accused counts for nothing, so write in the chat during check-in time.
I got a room number and my opponent was not there
Say so in the chat straight away: that is your proof. A player who gets the number and stays silent loses 3-0. If you each have evidence there is no result: no points in a group, and one extra day in a knockout.
We are both free before kick-off
Just play on match day and enter the result. You do not need to change the kick-off, and the game counts.
My opponent did not show up
Tap "I'm here" during check-in time. If your opponent does not tap and does not prove a game within an hour of kick-off, you win 3-0 and they get an absence.
My opponent said in the chat they will not play
Chat does not count as attendance or absence, so check in anyway. If they do not check in, you win 3-0.
My opponent left after the first match
Enter the first result, then open the second match and tap "My opponent never played". You win it 3-0 if they do not answer.
No room number came
The match page says who creates the room, and its number in the chat is the proof. If none comes, ask in the chat, or create the room yourself and send its number. Whoever owed the room and sent no number loses if you tap "My opponent never played" once check-in closes.
I arrived late
Check-in stays open 15 minutes after kick-off. After that your opponent can win 3-0, but if you both played and enter the same result within an hour of kick-off, it stands.
I forgot to tap "I'm here"
The button protects whoever turned up, and does not punish whoever played. Two matching results stand, and a game Match History proves counts even without the tap.
My opponent did not enter a result
There is no confirm step. Your result stands if your Match History picture proves it, even if they say nothing.
The connection dropped or my opponent quit
Open Match History. If the game recorded a score, it stands. If it recorded nothing or voided the match, replay the whole game before results close, and a player who refuses the replay loses. A frozen screen proves nothing.
I typed the wrong score
Do not worry. The site takes the score from your picture, and the picture beats the number with no penalty.
My opponent entered a false result
Enter your result with a picture of Match History. The site reads the pictures and shows each player what they prove. Each of you gets one correction, and 30 minutes later it is settled. Whoever insists on another result after seeing the proof gets a warning. With no proof, a group match pays nobody and a knockout is replayed.
Neither of us entered a result
No result means no points. In a group nobody gets anything, and in a knockout there is one extra day, after which both are out.
Neither of us checked in
In a group nobody gets points and you each get an absence. In a knockout you are both out with no points and your next opponent goes straight through, and in a final the cup ends with no champion. The exception is a game you really played: two matching results, or a Match History that proves it, count even without the tap.
Our knockout match ended level
Enter the level score and pick the winner on penalties. Do not add a goal.
The match settings are wrong
Say so in the chat before half-time and recreate the room. After half-time the score stands.
I cannot play today
Forfeit from the match page before check-in time ends: your opponent wins 3-0 and you get no absence.
We want to move the match to another day
Not possible, even if you both want it, because a cup does not stop for one match. Holidays, Ramadan, exams and work do not move a match. You can change the hour on the day to one you both picked.
My opponent is insulting me
Do not answer in kind. Report it from the match page. The owner can mute or ban the account, and a report never changes a result.
I lost. Do I wait for the cup to end?
No. As soon as you are out of the cup you can join a new one.
I disagree with a decision
You have one appeal for each decision, within 24 hours, from the match page, with new evidence. It is read automatically and reaches the owner only if it cannot be settled that way.
The site or the game went down
That day's open matches move to the next day, its absences are cancelled, and you are told.
Points and ranking
- Rank points: a win is +3, a draw +1, a loss -2, half a point for each goal of difference up to 5, and extra points in the late rounds.
- Flag Table: a result is worth what the match paid, and double against another flag. A flag scores its best 5 players.
- Private cups, wins by absence and results Match History does not back pay the flag nothing, and private cups pay no rank points.
Cheating and penalties
- One account for each person, on your real platform, played by you only: no second account, no shared account, no substitute.
- You get a warning for claiming another result after seeing what the picture says, for a "My opponent never played" that Match History disproves, or for a forged or edited picture.
- A second day of warnings within 60 days: removal from the cup and no registrations for 30 days. A third day within 180 days goes to the owner for a ban.
- Missing two match days in one cup removes you from it.
